Concord Cooperative Market
It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Mike Engel and Eric Skogrand of Grand Restaurant Equipment. As the General Manager of the Concord Cooperative Market I have worked with both of them over the past year planning and executing the kitchen and food service aspects of our store expansion.
Our store was a very small (2500 square feet) natural foods market with no kitchen or food preparation facilities. We expanded to a 6800 square foot store which now includes a kitchen, self-serve hot and cold bar, bakery and a small seating area. Mike and Eric were an important part of this expansion project. They worked with us to develop our kitchen and retail area floor plans, equipment list, and budget. They made recommendations and provided valuable input on all aspects of the project from dishwashers to laminate colors. Their level of expertise was surpassed only by their commitment to good service. The turn-around time on our order and their interface with our contractor was remarkable and they made sure our deli and kitchen equipment was installed in time for our opening.
Subsequent to the installation we had a few equipment problems. This is when a company shows what they truly value. It is clear to me that Grand Restaurant Equipment values customer satisfaction. They attended to every concern I had with the same immediacy and attention to detail that they demonstrated during the planning phase.
Mike and Eric and all the people at Grand Restaurant Equipment are unique in their commitment to providing excellent service to their customers. I enjoyed working with them and I consider their contribution a key factor in our success.
